Cardiovascular Technician

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will provide primary support to our providers by preparing patients for visits, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting with treatments and procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for visits by conducting vital signs, taking medical histories, and performing other necessary tasks.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, safe, and well-organized patient care environment.
- Operate cardiology monitoring devices, including EKG, holter monitors, event recorders, and pacemaker checks.
- Assist providers with treatments and procedures, including administering medications and performing other medical tasks.
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in a cardiac setting.
- Specialized training in clinical medical skills from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current training in BLS (AHA, American Red Cross, and ASHI Healthcare Provider) and other emergency response trainings.
