Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a highly skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a CVOR Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of cardiovascular operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, including the setup and organization of equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in the surgical team, providing technical support and assistance as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, medications, and test results.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting.
  • Current CPR provider card.
  • Must have a minimum of eighteen months of CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation specific to the surgical care of the open-heart patient population.
  • Knowledge of CVOR instrumentation as it relates to specific cardiac surgical procedures and other procedures as needed.
  • CABG and cardiac procedures.
