As an LPN at Geisinger, you will be responsible for providing primary clinical support to our providers, patients, and families, ensuring seamless diagnosis and treatment of patient conditions.
">Key Responsibilities

- Provide direct clinical care as directed by providers, including obtaining and documenting patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and basic medical data for providers.">
- Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing of results in medical records, promoting continuity and quality of care.">
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and complete associated paperwork to expedite laboratory studies with maximum accuracy and efficiency.">
- Administer medications and vaccines, including intradermal and skin testing, under the direction of a provider and within scope of practice.">
- Clean and set up examination and treatment rooms between cases, ensuring required levels of asepsis, availability of appropriate instruments and equipment, and preparation of patients.">
Benefits and Requirements
">This full-time position comes with a competitive salary, estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience. ">To qualify for this role, you must have a graduate degree from a Specialty Training Program-Nursing and hold Basic Life Support Certification and Licensed Practical Nurse certification.
