Responsibilities- Provide primary clinical support to providers, patients, and families to assist in diagnosis and treatment of conditions
- Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing in medical records for continuity and quality of care
- Promote a clean environment and meet qualifications to provide care for specific age ranges in assigned clinical areas
- Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and basic medical data for providers, and prepare patients for examinations
- Administer medications and vaccines under provider direction and per scope of practice
- Clean and set up examination and treatment rooms between cases, ensuring required levels of asepsis and availability of instruments and equipment
