Pediatric LPN

Job Title: Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Geisinger Ambulatory Care in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

• A competitive salary of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience

The successful candidate will provide primary clinical support to providers, patients, and their families, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patient conditions. Key responsibilities include:

1. Following up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing of results in medical records
2. Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens and completing associated paperwork to expedite laboratory studies
3. Administering medications and vaccines under the direction of a provider and within scope of practice
4. Cleaning and setting up examination and treatment rooms between cases, maintaining required levels of asepsis and ensuring availability of necessary instruments and equipment

• Graduation from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification and LPN licensure in the state of employment
