Bariatric Nurse Specialist

About the RoleWe're seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you'll work closely with our medical providers and the care team to deliver personalized care that meets the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise will be essential in helping us achieve our goal of providing outstanding patient experiences and positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to medication.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
- BASIC CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
