Bariatric Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Bariatric RN to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in line with the department's standards and state nursing requirements.
Job Responsibilities:- Assess patients' conditions during admission and scheduled shifts, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough documentation of care administration.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take action in the event of an unintended response.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate Degree with relevant experience.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
