Job Overview:
Solugenix is collaborating with a prominent financial services organization in search of an Escrow Assistant. This role is a contract opportunity based in San Diego, CA.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience in Escrow, Closing, and Disbursement processes.
- Strong Organizational Skills and proficiency in managing Closings.
- Customer Service Orientation and Problem-Solving abilities.
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred; however, a minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
- Completion of High School (Diploma or GED) is necessary.
- Open to candidates with less than 2 years of experience in an escrow-related role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide essential support to the Escrow department, focusing on customer service and administrative tasks related to escrow closings.
- Collaborate with an escrow officer or support a team, primarily dealing with residential transactions.
- Understand functional tasks at an intermediate level, with assistance from more experienced team members as needed.
- Engage in a variety of support activities within the functional area, following established processes and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in operations.
Core Functions:
- Perform a range of administrative tasks to facilitate the escrow process.
- Responsibilities may include opening orders, entering closing statement details, preparing closing documents, and managing the complete disbursement of escrow transactions.
- Communicate requirements and information effectively to clients.
- Interpret agreements related to closing and prepare necessary transaction documents.
Skills Required:
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational capabilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude consistently.
- Familiarity with company and/or client operating systems.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $28/hour. The starting rate may vary based on factors such as position, location, education, training, and experience.
