Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Olmsted Medical Center. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to ensure accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including blood banking, chemistry, and hematology
  • Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff and clinicians to resolve technical issues and improve laboratory operations
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and policies
  • Provide training and guidance to new laboratory staff members
Requirements
  • Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent certification) or equivalent education
  • Previous recent experience in laboratory science preferred
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
