$65 to $70 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 to 40 hours per week

Twin Cities, Minneapolis-Saint Paul MN

Focused Staffing Group is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to deliver exceptional services to students.

The Speech Language Pathologist will provide therapeutic speech services in small group environments for students with disabilities who require assistance in communication.

The speech therapist will also conduct evaluations and assessments to identify the communication requirements of each student.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design individualized plans to support students with speech challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators to enhance speech and language service delivery.
  • Instruct students on effective communication techniques.
  • Assess students with speech and communication difficulties.
  • Develop Individualized Education Program (IEP) plans for students receiving speech therapy.
  • Track student progress towards their IEP communication objectives.
  • Complete necessary billing documentation for third-party services.
  • Maintain comprehensive communication logs and contact records.
Requirements:

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
  • Possession of a valid state license or certification.
  • In-depth knowledge of speech-related disorders, their causes, and treatment options.
Skills:

  • Effective communication skills with students, families, and educational staff.
  • Ability to foster and maintain productive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Competence in monitoring progress and drafting necessary documentation.

Ability to Relocate:
Relocation prior to commencing work is required.
