Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this role is $193,490 - $175,900 - $149,515, based on factors including location, experience, and qualifications.

Job Description

This leadership position oversees the creation, implementation, and maintenance of an effective cybersecurity risk management program, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will identify gaps and drive solutions to minimize losses from inadequate internal processes, systems, or human errors. This role involves collaborating with Senior to Executive Leaders across the bank to develop strategies and initiatives that promote information security and protect against potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing information security policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks
  • Overseeing the implementation of regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Managing a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management
  • Fostering a culture of information security awareness throughout the organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 12 years of applicable experience, with a minimum of 6 years in cybersecurity roles
  • Considerable understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends impacting cybersecurity and/or privacy
  • Ability to communicate highly technical topics to executive leadership
  • Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage stressful situations and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate complex business environments
  • Applicable professional certifications, including CISSP, CISM, and/or CISA
