Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis intervention, safety planning, and emotional support to residents of the emergency shelter.
- Facilitate daily activities and manage the daily operations of the shelter.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment within the shelter.
- Advocate on behalf of survivors with other service providers as needed.
- Assist with intake and discharge processes for shelter residents.
- Document and maintain accurate records of all client interactions.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working in a residential setting preferred.
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Sensitivity to the needs of survivors and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Updated CPR and First Aid Certification required.
- HIV/AIDS certification required.
- Dependable transportation and valid MA Driver's License.
