Job Summary:

ECU Health Physicians is seeking a Medical Assistant - Clinic Operations Coordinator to coordinate clinic operations and assist providers in eastern North Carolina.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates clinic operations and assists providers by performing vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, data entry, and medical records management.
  • Assists with and provides patient care services and customer services as necessary.
  • Maintains all patient care related documentation in hard copy and/or electronic medical records.
  • Demonstrates skill in clinical duties such as vitals, health history, and other clinical duties as directed by clinicians.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • One of the two certifications: Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant through the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Preferred one or more years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
