Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

At Epiphany Dermatology, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting our providers with back-office duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and families
  • Prepare patients for exams, collect and document patient information, and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow and clinical operations
  • Respond to patient care questions or complaints and escalate appropriately when needed
  • Deliver patient care per provider orders and based on practice guidelines and state regulations
  • Order, stock, and maintain exam rooms and supply storage areas
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Graduate of a medical assisting education program accredited by the National Healthcare Association
  • Current certification from a recognized certifying body, such as the American Association of Medical Assistants or the National Certification Medical Association
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) is highly desired
