Civil Engineer in Training

Ardurra Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer in Training to join our team in Albuquerque, NM.

Job Summary

Under the general supervision of a Professional Engineer, the Civil Engineer in Training will perform assignments that require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related civil design engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare plan details and outlines, identify quantities of materials, cost estimates, and perform calculations for a specific segment of a project.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical specifications.
  • Prepare technical reports or sections of larger reports.
  • From time to time, perform field tests and measurements, collect field data.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • (Preferable) Engineer-in-Training certificate (any state).
  • Experience with Civil 3D CAD or MicroStation software.
  • 2+ years of civil engineering experience with transportation, land development, residential, commercial, municipal, and/or park projects.
