About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Engineer to join our team in southern New Mexico. As a key member of our Community Development Group, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex civil engineering projects, fostering strong client relationships, and providing technical guidance and support to our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with rural clients to understand their needs, scope future projects, and provide grant funding support.
  • Manage multiple projects, developing proposals and managing approved scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Lead the Design Team on civil engineering-related services.
  • Develop, track, update, forecast, and modify project schedules and budgets throughout all phases of the project.
  • Prepare project status reports on a regular basis.
  • Review and approve all invoices and change orders associated with the project.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Civil Engineering.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and team-oriented.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
