About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Civil Engineer to join our team at Souder, Miller & Associates. As a Staff Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful completion and delivery of projects, working closely with our team of engineers, scientists, and technicians.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of scopes of work and cost estimates for projects.
  • Perform routine technical work, including data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports and specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain technical skills, including proficiency in technical software and tools.
  • Provide construction observation services and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of various types of reports, specifications, plans, and permits.
  • Direct field work, including the supervision of subcontractors and staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in a civil engineering or construction environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug test.
