Job Title: Project Controls Specialist

Join Sargent & Lundy, a leading engineering firm, as a Project Controls Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by monitoring and controlling costs, schedules, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cost tracking and monitoring programs to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate cost and schedule risks.
  • Analyze data and build reports to support project monitoring and decision-making.
  • Interface regularly with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Travel to client offices or project sites to support project coordination and performance reviews.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of related experience in project controls, cost management, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact with project teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, with emphasis on MS Excel and/or MS Access.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AACE Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certification.
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience using SAP business software integrations.
