Job Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act. Key responsibilities include:
- Utilizing therapeutic communication to foster a safe and supportive environment.
- Identifying and addressing nursing challenges tailored to individual patient needs.
- Planning and implementing personalized patient care through a collaborative approach.
- Engaging in performance improvement initiatives.
- Coordinating care to align with the hospital's mission and vision.
In a leadership capacity, the Registered Nurse will oversee daily operations to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include:
- Assigning staff based on patient needs and staff competencies.
- Serving as a clinical resource and role model for team members.
- Responding promptly to inquiries from physicians, staff, and patients.
Qualifications
- Active licensure with the Tennessee State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
- Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- A minimum of one year of RN experience.
