The Early Childhood Educator for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders plays a crucial role in delivering educational programs and facilitating engaging activities tailored for students within the designated classroom. This position involves overseeing the collaborative efforts of the assigned para-educator and support personnel who provide essential services to students in the specified area.

Available:
One (1) part-time role; approximately 16 hours per week/Balanced calendar.

Compensation:
Salary as per the Certificated Salary Schedule.

Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree is mandatory. A valid Michigan teaching certificate with endorsement in autistic impairment or another special education endorsement with a commitment to obtain certification in Autism Spectrum Disorder is required. Additional endorsements in Early Childhood Education are preferred.

Experience:
A proven track record of successful student teaching experience is essential; a minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred.
