Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of 5-10 carpenters, finishers, and helpers in industrial environments.
- Review project plans and blueprints to plan jobs with individuals requesting work.
- Perform layout for buildings, formwork, anchor bolts, and other structures.
- Estimate time, material, equipment, and supplies needed for projects.
- Develop work schedules and crew assignments to ensure efficient project completion.
- Inspect work areas to ensure job completion meets company and client standards.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Complete time sheets, accident reports, work orders, and other company and client paperwork as required.
- Train staff in related work assignments and maintain records of operation.
- Monitor inventories and request supplies and equipment as needed.
- Ensure work areas are properly maintained and meet safety standards.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a journeyman Form Carpenter or related Carpentry field.
- At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in the Cement Finisher or Rodbuster field is a plus.
- Knowledge of all related OSHA regulations.
- Minimum 2-year experience working in an industrial environment.
