Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 carpenters, finishers, and helpers in industrial environments.
  • Review project plans and blueprints to plan jobs with individuals requesting work.
  • Perform layout for buildings, formwork, anchor bolts, and other structures.
  • Estimate time, material, equipment, and supplies needed for projects.
  • Develop work schedules and crew assignments to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Inspect work areas to ensure job completion meets company and client standards.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Complete time sheets, accident reports, work orders, and other company and client paperwork as required.
  • Train staff in related work assignments and maintain records of operation.
  • Monitor inventories and request supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Ensure work areas are properly maintained and meet safety standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a journeyman Form Carpenter or related Carpentry field.
  • At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in the Cement Finisher or Rodbuster field is a plus.
  • Knowledge of all related OSHA regulations.
  • Minimum 2-year experience working in an industrial environment.
