Job Title: Intake Specialist

About the Role:

As an Intake Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing access, intake, and crisis response services for adults and children with mental illness, emotional disturbance, developmental disabilities, and co-occurring substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide urgent assessments and interventions to divert hospitalization when appropriate.
  • Complete intake assessments to determine eligibility for services.
  • Work with Care Management to facilitate consumer assignment to treatment teams.
  • Provide short-term clinical interventions for stabilization.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited school.
  • Valid Michigan Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Experience working with adults and children with serious mental health disorders.
  • Knowledge of community mental health system and resources.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary range: $62,247 - $77,598 annually.
  • $6,000 Recruitment Bonus for Clinical Master level new hires.
