Job Summary

Oceans Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Financial Intake Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of patient financial information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Data Management: Verify patient insurance coverage, manage financial criteria, and ensure accurate and timely adjustments and refunds.
  • Accounting and Billing: Classify and reclassify patient accounts, prepare and report credit information, and provide cost report data.
  • Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting problems, provide information for billing logs, and complete assignments accurately and timely.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma preferred, with at least 7 years of experience in a related field, including data entry, finance, and accounting.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of managed care, commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid.
Work Environment
