Role Overview:
This position is crucial for overseeing the inspection, refurbishment, and verification processes for NanoString Instruments, components, and sub-assemblies. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting quality control, troubleshooting, and repairing intricate mechanical, optical, and fluidic instruments across various models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Incoming Inspection and Qualification testing on NanoString Instruments in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Document nonconformances and investigate failures thoroughly.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and requalify instruments based on comprehensive training and service manuals.
- Support the Verification and Validation of procedural changes, including Installation and Preventative measures.
- Perform incoming inspections of returned parts and instruments.
- Execute decontamination, evaluation, troubleshooting, repair, and qualification of parts and instruments.
- Oversee high-value refurbishment and qualification of significant sub-assemblies in collaboration with supply chain and vendors.
- Assemble and qualify Service Support tools.
- Identify opportunities to minimize cycle time and reduce field failures.
- Develop and implement fixtures, jigs, and test setups as necessary.
The target base salary range for this position is $62K - $85K. This range reflects NanoString's commitment to providing competitive compensation based on individual skills, experience, and market value.
In addition to base salary, our comprehensive compensation package includes a discretionary annual bonus, incentive compensation for sales roles, Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grants for new hires, and extensive benefits, including paid time off and designated holidays.
