Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect technical care to surgical/obstetric patients, ensuring the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.
- Follow established practices and standards, supporting the mission statement, policies, and procedures of the Baptist Health System.
- Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
- High-school graduate and Graduate of a Department of Education (DOE) or Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) accredited surgical technology program.
- 1 year of experience as a Surgical or OB Technologist in an acute care or ambulatory setting.
- BLS certification obtained through approved American Heart Association Training or the Military Training Network.
- Certifications from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA); CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) or from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT); TS-C (Technician in Surgery–Certified).
