Compensation: $120k-$130k + bonus based on experience
Vaco is seeking a skilled Property Accounting Manager to join our client in the commercial real estate sector. This role is an exciting opportunity resulting from the company's expansion. Ideal candidates will possess experience managing multiple units within the commercial real estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and analyze general ledgers for designated properties.
2. Collaborate directly with property managers to resolve issues and provide guidance.
3. Ensure accurate billing of rents and proper accounting of revenue and lease expenses in compliance with GAAP.
4. Maintain financial records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
5. Confirm timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
6. Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and tax returns.
7. Support the preparation and analysis of monthly financial variances (actual vs. budget on P/L).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in the commercial real estate field.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
- Proficient in Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables; experience with Yardi is a plus.
