Job Summary

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing multiple multicenter research projects on traumatic brain injury and stroke.

This is a leadership position that requires advanced-level knowledge and skills in clinical research, project management, and interpersonal communication. You will be responsible for implementing quality improvement processes, managing CHR approval and compliance, and creating and implementing quality improvement processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, project management, and leadership. You will be responsible for managing a team of research assistants, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that study goals are met.

This is a part-time position, working 80% of full-time hours, with a salary range of $67.10 per hour. The University of California, San Francisco is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage multiple multicenter research projects on traumatic brain injury and stroke
  • Implement quality improvement processes and manage CHR approval and compliance
  • Create and implement quality improvement processes
  • Manage a team of research assistants, providing feedback and guidance
  • Ensure that study goals are met
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and sufficient experience and demonstrated skills to successfully perform the assigned duties and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to develop recruitment strategies in complex environments and differing patient pools
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical research contracts and grants, clinical trials, protocols, FDA regulations, and complex visit structures
  • Project management skills to oversee the administrative operations of the clinical trials program
  • Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate the importance and urgency of problems
  • Excellent demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
