Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement a diverse range of activities and events that cater to the interests and abilities of all residents.
- Assist in leading activities and programs, promoting resident participation and engagement.
- Contribute to the creation of the daily and monthly activities calendar.
- Support residents in various community projects and initiatives.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as posting calendars and maintaining resident sign-up sheets.
- Be energetic, personable, and enthusiastic, with a creative and imaginative approach to activity planning.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen and respond to residents and staff.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written language skills.
- Have knowledge of the physical and emotional aspects of aging.
- Ability to motivate and positively influence residents.
- Prior experience in group socialization or recreational programs is preferred but not required.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
