Job Title: Engineering Technician

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our team at Kelly Services. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our packaging line equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure packaging equipment operates at peak performance.
  • Quickly resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in the installation and qualification of new packaging equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve processes and develop tooling.
  • Investigate and resolve causes of downtime.
  • Provide urgent support for production machine issues.
  • Write shift updates and maintain equipment documentation.
  • Organize and assign tasks to junior technicians.
  • Adhere to regulatory and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
  • Troubleshooting electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Basic sensor and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Reading and interpreting diagrams and schematics.
  • Experience with industrial or packaging equipment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to write reports and procedures.
  • Effective presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Decision-making abilities to promptly address machinery issues.
