Job Title: Home Health Speech Language Pathologist

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Home Health Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Jamison, Pennsylvania.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality care to our clients in their homes. As a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients in their homes, promoting independence and improving communication skills.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Document client progress and treatment plans, utilizing our state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in PA.
  • Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or;
  • Have the equivalent educational requirements, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, and work experience necessary for such a certificate, and be awaiting the opportunity to take the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association examination for certification, or;
  • Have completed the necessary work and education requirements, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, and be in the process of accumulating the necessary supervised work experience required for certification.
  • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
