Audio Visual Operator Job Summary

The Dalcy, a premier event space in the Fulton Market District, is seeking a skilled Audio Visual Operator to join our team. As an Audio Visual Operator, you will be responsible for expertly operating lighting and video systems, providing technical assistance for DJs and musical talent, and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audio Visual Equipment Operation: Proficiently operate state-of-the-art audio visual equipment, including grandMA2 Lighting software and hardware, Resolume Media Server software, and other specialized tools.
  • Event Support: Work with artists, clients, and staff to determine, operate, and regulate formats, approaches, content, levels, and mediums to effectively create various nightlife environments according to event requirements.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Available to work a variety of days and shifts, including late nights and weekends, to accommodate the needs of our events.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Ability to effectively communicate in written and spoken direction, and work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift, move safely through all areas of the restaurant or night club, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in audio visual equipment operation, including lighting and video systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively with others and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, and lifting.
