Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, coordinate, and implement manufacturing floor operations utilizing the Up Keep App.
- Collaborate with production staff to resolve outstanding issues related to general machinery and facility upkeep.
- Assist in the formulation and execution of preventive maintenance protocols as necessary.
- Work in tandem with the manufacturing planner to ensure project scope and alignment are maintained.
- Verify that all projects are equipped with the necessary materials, tools, and equipment prior to commencement.
- Develop and sustain a mobile cart for housing essential tools, equipment, and materials.
- Take on various roles within the manufacturing process as directed by the Plant Manager during urgent situations.
- Conduct audits of maintenance and cleanliness, addressing issues as required, including waste management.
- Perform additional minor maintenance tasks within the facility pending approval from the plant manager.
- Ensure a safe working environment throughout all projects and during clean-up activities.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, and communicate effectively.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficient in basic arithmetic operations.
- Reasoning Skills: Capable of solving practical problems and interpreting instructions.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with Internet Explorer, Up Keep, and M2M software.
- Education/Experience: High school diploma with four to six years of relevant experience or training.
- Equipment Knowledge: Proficient in using cutting torches, hand tools, welders, taps, power saws, dies, plastic and metal materials, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to read basic prints and drawings, analyze data, prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and demonstrate innovation and creativity.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, use hands, reach, and communicate effectively.
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required.
- Occasional requirement to sit and lift or move up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to moving mechanical components, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and electrical hazards.
- Work environment typically characterized by high noise levels.
