Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Teacher. As a Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our young learners and supporting the growth and development of our centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Implementation: Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child, promoting a love of learning and a strong foundation for future success.
  • Classroom Environment: Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play, learn, and thrive, fostering a sense of community and belonging among students, families, and staff.
  • Parent Partnerships: Partner and connect with parents, working together to provide the best care and education for their children, and keeping them informed about their child's progress and development.
  • Center Success: Support your center's success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, driving business growth and excellence.
  • Community Building: Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners, building a strong network of support and resources for our centers and the children we serve.
Qualifications
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively, ensuring a positive experience for families and children.
  • Certifications: Hold CPR and First Aid Certification or be willing to obtain, and meet state-specific qualifications for the role or be willing to obtain.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential: Possess an Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or be willing to obtain, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and excellence in early childhood education.
  • Physical Abilities: Be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and staff.
  • Communication Skills: Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
