As a Lead Teacher or Early Childhood Education Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a teaching team to create classroom plans and objectives, and facilitating engaging activities based on children's interests and developmental needs.
  • Maintaining open communication with parents, documenting and sharing significant milestones in their child's daily experiences.
  • Ensuring a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to established procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
  • A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher is required.
  • A minimum of six months of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is necessary.
  • Demonstrated understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) is essential.
  • MA DEEC teacher certification is required (Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care).

Compensation Range: $22.75 / Hour

The compensation range mentioned here reflects what Bright Horizons anticipates offering for this position. Actual compensation will depend on various factors including experience, education, certifications, location, and other relevant business considerations.
