Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Yale Medicine's Dermatology clinic. As an LPN, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our clinic.
In this role, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including obtaining patient histories and medical information, assisting with medical and minor surgical procedures, and preparing examining rooms. You will also be responsible for maintaining medical supplies and equipment, responding to medical emergencies, and recording patient information.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical support to patients, physicians, and nursing staff in the Yale Medicine Dermatology clinic
• Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and policies
• Maintain medical supplies and equipment, respond to medical emergencies, and record patient information
• Work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
Requirements:
• Four years of related work experience, two of them in the same job family at the next lower level, and a high school level education; or two years of related work experience and an Associate degree; or an equivalent combination of experience and education
• Two plus years of experience as an LPN, with dermatology experience preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• Proven experience in outpatient clinic populations
• Background check requirements apply to all candidates for employment, including motor vehicle, DOT certification, drug testing, and credit checks based on the position description and job requirements
Salary Range:
$65,000-$80,000 per year
