Job Summary

We are expanding our team of skilled professionals to provide exceptional patient care in our Outpatient Centers with CT services. If you are looking for a flexible work environment with opportunities for growth and development, we encourage you to apply for this PRN CT Technologist position.

Our centers are located in Palm Beach Gardens, Wellington, West Palm Beach, West Boynton, East Boynton, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, and North Broward (Boca Raton West). We offer a range of shifts, including day, evening, and weekend opportunities, to accommodate your schedule and preferences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform CT imaging procedures with minimal supervision, ensuring accurate and high-quality results.
  • Screen patients for any precautions or contraindications before exams, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure.
  • Prepare patients for scanning imaging procedures, explaining the process and positioning them for optimal results.
  • Adjust scanning parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and adhere to safety regulations to protect patients, colleagues, and yourself.
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
  • Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • CT certification.
