Position Overview

The CNC Machining Expert plays a crucial role in our manufacturing process at ARCH Global Precision. This position involves a variety of essential tasks that ensure the efficient operation of CNC machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Proficiently operate and set up various CNC machines, including Citizen Swiss models K-16, L-20, L-32, and M32Y.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect parts during production to maintain consistent dimensional and visual quality.
  • Equipment Monitoring: Continuously monitor machinery and tooling to ensure optimal performance and report any issues to the Department Lead.
  • Process Adherence: Follow detailed instructions outlined in process sheets, drawings, and programs.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist colleagues in troubleshooting and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Communication: Interface with Quality, Engineering, and other team members as necessary.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Program Review: Review and modify programs to eliminate errors and ensure smooth operations.
  • Trial Runs: Conduct machine trial runs or simulations to verify functionality and compliance with specifications.
  • Precision Measurement: Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure finished products meet specifications.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, with 5 years of related experience or training.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group settings.
Physical Demands

This position requires light to moderate physical exertion, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Regular standing, reaching, and movement around the facility are necessary.

Work Environment

The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise levels.
