Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Proficiency in Operating Machinery: Skilled in handling various machines, particularly the Citizen Swiss K-16, L-20, L-32, and M32Y.
  • Machine Setup and Operation: Responsible for setting up and operating machines within the department while ensuring consistent quality during production.
  • Quality Inspection: Conduct inspections of parts throughout the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to dimensional and visual standards.
  • Equipment Monitoring: Continuously observe machinery and tooling, promptly notifying the Department Lead of any issues that may disrupt operations.
  • Adherence to Procedures: Follow detailed instructions outlined in process sheets, drawings, and programs.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist colleagues in troubleshooting and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Communication: Engage with Quality, Engineering, and other team members as necessary.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all activities comply with ARCH Quality System procedures.
  • Program Review: Analyze programs to identify and rectify errors, conducting retests to confirm solutions.
  • Trial Runs and Simulations: Observe machines during trial runs or perform computer simulations to verify functionality and compliance with specifications.
  • Precision Measurement: Utilize precision measuring instruments to confirm that finished products meet specifications.
  • Adjustments and Modifications: Modify machine settings, change tools, and adjust controls as necessary to address programming errors or malfunctions.
  • Quality Maintenance: Uphold a high standard of quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Competencies

To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate:

  • Ability to set up and validate new work and edit programs.
  • Coaching and communication skills to guide department personnel.
  • Capability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Proficiency in changing tools and offsets.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess:

Physical Demands

This position requires light to moderate physical exertion, including:
