LPX Group is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Field Technician to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Equipment Field Technician to repair, inspect, and maintain primarily CAT heavy construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment repair, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and maintain heavy construction equipment, including engines, electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues using CAT ET and SIS
  • Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years' experience working on CAT heavy equipment products
  • Ability to diagnose and perform repairs using CAT ET and SIS
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a professional attitude
  • Welding experience an asset
  • Field service experience will be given preference
  • Successful candidate must have their own tools with a valid driver's license in good standing
  • Ability to work weekends for an on-call schedule
