We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at Norton Healthcare. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to patients with respiratory conditions, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.
Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory care to patients, including the initiation of protocols and evaluation of therapy modalities.
Serve as a member of the patient care team, assessing patient needs and developing care plans.
Participate in quality monitoring and improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including patient records and billing information.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
CRT or RRT certification, with RRT obtained within 12 months of hire.
One year of experience in respiratory care, preferably in a critical care setting.
Certified Respiratory Therapist (National) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (National) certification.
