Job Summary

Noble Casing Inc is seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient delivery of services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and relay customer requests for services via telephone and coordinate with field personnel to ensure timely delivery.
  • Dispatch drivers and crews to service assignments, taking into account factors such as trip length, freight requirements, and customer preferences.
  • Assign vehicles to drivers based on factors such as trip purpose, cargo requirements, and customer preferences.
  • Issue keys, record sheets, and credentials to drivers and maintain accurate records of vehicle usage.
  • Monitor driver performance and investigate any issues related to late or missing vehicles.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve any issues related to service delivery, including expediting or locating missing or delayed shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, repairs, and other expenses related to vehicle operations.
  • Develop and implement efficient service delivery routes to minimize costs and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit reports on driver performance, vehicle usage, and other relevant metrics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One to two years of related experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Working Conditions

The Dispatcher will work in a standard office environment with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Driver Criteria

Noble Casing Inc has established the following guidelines for insured drivers:

  • One or more Type A Violation(s) in a 60-month period.
  • Two or more Type B Violation(s) in a 36-month period.
  • Three or more Type C Violation(s) in a 36-month period.
  • One Type B and two Type C Violations in a 36-month period.

Type of Violations Defined:

  • Type A: Includes but is not limited to, DWI, DUI, OUI, refusing a substance test, and charges of reckless driving, manslaughter, hit & run, eluding police, any felony, drag racing, having or driving with a suspended license.
  • Type B: Includes all vehicle accidents regardless of fault.
  • Type C: Includes all moving violations not in Types A or B, such as speeding, improper lane change, failure to yield, running stop lights or signs.
  • Type D: Includes non-moving violations such as illegal parking, equipment violations, obstructing traffic, failure to display registration or driver's license.
