Job Summary
Noble Casing Inc is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for dispatching oil and water trucks to service assignments and relaying communications to crews and other field personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to customer requests for services via phone and other communication channels.
- Dispatch drivers and crews to service assignments, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Assign vehicles based on factors such as trip length, cargo requirements, and customer preferences.
- Issue keys, record sheets, and credentials to drivers as needed.
- Record and track vehicle movements, including departure and arrival times, cargo details, and expected return times.
- Follow up with drivers and crews to ensure successful and timely completion of assignments.
- Investigate and resolve any issues related to overdue vehicles or other operational concerns.
- Direct driver activities via two-way radio communication.
- Collaborate with customers to resolve issues, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, repairs, and other expenses.
- Develop and implement efficient service and delivery routes.
- Prepare and submit time reports and other operational records.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions
This role requires occasional exposure to outside weather conditions and moderate noise levels.
