About the Role

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Director, Operations and Security to lead our site operations and physical security functions across North America. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences across all our campuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management and administration of site operations and physical security functions at all North American properties.
  • Lead a team of Senior Directors and Directors responsible for MEP activities, physical security, unplanned emergency events, and capital construction projects.
  • Ensure availability and capacity targets are achieved and maintained for data centers and technical infrastructure.
  • Encourage a team-oriented environment through positive feedback and implement key initiatives to drive desired outcomes.
  • Hold teams accountable for preventive and corrective maintenance of facility equipment.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Responsible for key performance indicators reporting to the Site Operations and Physical Security teams and the executive team.
  • Create annual operating expense budgets and capital expenditures.
  • Monitor and update monthly forecasts to meet and exceed budgets and financial targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an Engineering field.
  • 10+ years of experience in facility/plant engineering and maintenance supervision.
  • 10+ years of direct managerial experience and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Consistent track record of excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and building automation systems.
