Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle System Issue Resolution Specialist to join our Advanced Safety and User Experience segment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for resolving complex system performance and compliance issues at the VSYS4 and VSYS5 level.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Design Review: Conduct thorough reviews of system design to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Issue Triage and Ownership: Evaluate issues found during VSYS4 and VSYS5 level testing and triage ownership to correct dependencies for problem-solving.
  • Test Case Design and Automation: Coordinate test case design to match system requirements and automate the identification of potential issues during VSYS4 and VSYS5 testing.
  • Instrumentation and Data Analysis: Review and improve instrumentation for VSYS4 and VSYS5, and analyze test data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Failure Pattern Identification and Reporting: Identify and report common failure patterns and potential process shortcomings during product development.
  • Technical Communication and Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, and communicate complex technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Hands-on Experience with CAN Network: Proven experience with CAN network protocols and systems.
  • Basic Knowledge of Vehicle Components and ADAS Systems: Understanding of vehicle components and ADAS systems, including radar and camera systems.
  • Scripting and Programming Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as MATLAB and Python, and experience with C++ and Simulink.
  • Logical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical information.
  • Technical Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent technical communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Quick Learning and Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license, with a strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and safety protocols.
  • 2+ Years of Experience in ADAS System Development: Minimum 2 years of experience in ADAS system development, with a strong understanding of signal processing and vehicle dynamics.
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety and Automotive SPICE: Understanding of functional safety and Automotive SPICE protocols, with experience in implementing and maintaining these standards.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in EE/ME or Auto-Related Fields: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and safety protocols.
