As a Cybersecurity Engineering Intern with Aptiv's Advanced Safety & User Experience team, you'll work at the intersection of automotive technology and digital security. You'll help safeguard next-generation vehicle systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), connected car platforms, and user experience interfaces from emerging cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and implementation of cybersecurity solutions for advanced vehicle systems, including connected car technologies and user experience interfaces.
Perform vulnerability assessments and threat analysis on critical vehicle systems to identify potential security risks.
Support the development of encryption, authentication, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard vehicle networks and user data.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure cybersecurity best practices are integrated into system design and development processes.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including encryption, secure communication, and network security.
Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, with a focus on security applications.
Familiarity with automotive protocols like CAN, LIN, or Ethernet is a plus, but not required.
Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to identifying vulnerabilities and developing solutions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teams in a fast-paced environment.
