Position Overview:

The Lead Cardiac Sonography Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Non-Invasive Cardiology department. This role includes the management and coordination of staff, recruitment, and performance evaluations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor the team of Cardiac Sonographers.
  • Ensure high standards of patient care and technical performance.
  • Conduct hiring processes and competency assessments for new and existing staff.

Experience Requirements:
Essential: 3-5 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.
Desirable: 1-3 years of management or supervisory experience.

Educational Background:
Preferred: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is advantageous.

Licenses and Certifications:
Mandatory: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
Additional Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring 80 hours per pay period.
