Join Our Tax Team as a Tax Supervisor

Marcum LLP is a leading accounting and consulting firm that offers a dynamic and challenging work environment. As a Tax Supervisor, you will play a key role in our tax team, working closely with our clients and colleagues to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review tax returns, including intermediate to advanced level returns and basic tax returns
  • Develop and maintain advanced technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and upper-level client management
  • Monitor and manage multiple assignments, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
  • Communicate effectively with partners, managers, and supervising seniors on work status and client issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in tax software, including ProSystem Engagement and Tax
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience in tax
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
