Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Representative to support the Main Propulsion Drive (MPD) program at General Dynamics Electric Boat. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the management and oversight of the MPD vendor, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality components for our COLUMBIA Class submarines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project trackers to monitor status and progress
  • Coordinate with purchasing and program offices on vendor funding and contract requirements
  • Enforce technical and programmatic contract requirements with the sub-vendor (DRS-NPS)
  • Review vendor proposals and assess reasonability of proposed costs
  • Serve as primary point of contact and interface with customers (NAVSEA and NNL) and the sub-vendor
  • Perform document reviews to ensure consistency in content across the department
Requirements
  • 0-14 years of professional experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Project and Excel
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Ability to travel to vendor's facility
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business, or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience working with NAVSEA/NNL
  • Experience in conflict resolution
  • Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience managing procurement from a vendor
