Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Program Coordinator to join our team at Peoria Public Schools District 150. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality education to young children.

About the Role

The Early Childhood Program Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and implementing early childhood programs, including curriculum development, teacher support, and family engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement high-quality early childhood programs that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Provide support and guidance to early childhood teachers, including coaching, mentoring, and professional development
  • Collaborate with families and community partners to enhance early childhood education and promote family engagement
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of district-wide early childhood initiatives
  • Conduct observations and assessments of early childhood programs to inform instruction and improve student outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Illinois teaching certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in an early childhood setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive program improvement
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
