We are currently seeking an experienced Call Center / Patient Access Specialist to enhance our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly answer incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Accurately collect and input demographic information into our database/system.
- Schedule appointments and provide callers with comprehensive instructions regarding what to bring and what to expect during their visit.
- Guide patients on utilizing the intake system for New Patient forms prior to their appointment.
- Inform callers about our cancellation and no-show policies.
- Respond to inquiries and provide additional information as needed to ensure a patient-centered experience and a positive representation of our organization.
- Recognize when to escalate calls to Physicians, Supervisors, Managers, or Medical Assistants.
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience or experience in a healthcare setting.
- High School diploma or GED required; an Associate's Degree or relevant healthcare certification is preferred.
- Dependable and trustworthy, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or Spanish, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
